3Dripping

Lucite ( Plexiglas ) Sculpture realised in 2011.
Pigmented resins are poured into a clear block of plexiglas, using the dripping technique, made so famouse by Jackson Pollock, here works with an extra dimention:
the ‘painting’ drips inside a clear volume, reacting and melting in all possible ways.
The soft contrast between the painting and the clear volume recalls
the eternal opposition between fullness and emptiness.
The dense and clear structure does not exist anymore,
only painting exists.
